As AVS’s Lead of Procurement and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develops sources for procuring supplies, services, and equipment by contacting vendors, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies, trade fairs etc.
• Decides on the supply and distribution methods for raw materials through finished goods by tracking and efficiencies and cost of each delivery mode.
• Creates and manages purchase orders as well as returns to suppliers for rejected materials.
• Ensures that items procured follow Quality system Requirements and goods and services are to agreed specifications. Engages and resolves any supplier related issues.
• Supports Quality in conducting supplier audits
• Leads a team and ensures that they perform in line with the department's mandate.
• Manages the forecast needs for raw materials through finished goods.
• Grows the supplier database by creating alliances with distributors.
• Implements and Manages supply chain planning and tracking activities including tools, systems and SOP’s

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, engineering, or related to analytical discipline preferred.
• 5-7 years of procurement & vendor management experience
• 5-7 years of inventory management experience
• Prior experience in Med Device preferred.
